All of Creation is to Praise Him!

While we may not be privy of all the reasons that God created the universe, it is clear from the Bible that one important reason was for the creation to praise Him.

Let heaven and earth praise him, the seas and all that move in them. (Psalm 69:34)

The heaven declare the glory of God; the skies proclaim the work of his hands. (Psalm 19:1)

All you have made will praise you, O LORD; your saints will extol you. (Psalm 145:10)

Let everything that has breath praise the LORD. (Psalm 150:6)

Let the heavens rejoice, let the earth be glad; let the sea resound, and all that is in it; let the fields be jubilant, and everything in them. Then all the trees of the forest will sing for joy; they will sing before the LORD, for he comes to judge the earth. He will judge the world in righteousness and the peoples in his truth. (Psalm 96:11-13)

So we see that God has expectations, and there are consequences.

Some of the Pharisees in the crowd said to Jesus, “Teacher, rebuke your disciples!” “I tell you,” he replied, “if they keep quiet, the stones will cry out.” (Luke 19:39-40)

The problem seems to be with the humans in the creation.

They exchanged the truth of God for a lie, and worshipped and served created things rather than the Creator – who is forever praised! Amen. (Romans 1:25)
