God’s Ways
He made known his ways to Moses, his deeds to the people of Israel. (Psalm 103:7)
For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways declares the LORD. As the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts. (Isaiah 55:8-9)
Walk in all the way that the LORD your God has commanded you, so that you may live and prosper and prolong your days in the land you will possess. (Deuteronomy 5:33)
There is a way that seems right to a man but in the end it leads to death. (Proverbs 14:12)
The concept clearly shown in these verses, and numerous others, is that although man is not on a par with God (far from it) God has chosen to give him enough information to know right from wrong. God’s way is right! All of history has shown that, without God’s Word, man cannot on his own tell right from wrong and more often than not choses wrong over right.
