THE CREATION IS ENGINEERED – NOT EVOLVED!
Many people do not know that there have been numerous discoveries of dinosaur (and other fossilized) bones with original soft tissue found inside them. Reliable scientific techniques were used, initially by secular scientists, to find this materal. Over a decade has passed since the first reported findings were made and now creationist scientists are finding their own soft tissues in dinosaur bones.
The Creation Research Society has found soft tissue in a Triceratops horn and in a Thescelosaurus vertebra. Electron microscope magnification shows that these tissues are clearly not what would be expected to be found if the bones are 65 million years old!
In the meantime, secular scientists are baffled since their deep time paradigm does not allow for soft tissues in material this old. So, they have been searching for a process by which soft tissue could still be around much longer than current science says is possible. Meanwhile, common sense and the work of creation scientists are in accord that a more reasonable explanation for the soft tissue is that it is not a minimum of 65 million years old, but much, much younger. Even radiocarbon dating of fossilized bones supports the creationist position against the old-age ideas. Secularists would know this if they would actually do carbon 14 dating on their fossils. They refuse to use this tool only because it does not match their worldview presuppositions of millions of years of evolution.
Of course, all of the soft-tissue scientific evidence we now have would match perfectly with the idea that the dinosaur bones were buried about 4,500 years ago during the year-long global Flood at the time of Noah. And this matches the Biblical Christian worldview with presuppositions based on what the Bible tells us about the age of everything.
The best book I have read on this subject so far is, Echoes of the Jurassic – Discoveries of Dinosaur Soft-Tissue by Dr. Kevin Anderson of the Creation Research Society. The book is fairly technical but the associated DVD is understandable by the layperson. I have the Creation Research Society DVD available.
