For God is the King of all the earth
For God is the King of all the earth; sing to him a psalm of praise. God reigns over the nations; God is seated on his holy throne. (Psalm 47:7-8)
For he spoke and it came to be; he commanded, and it stood firm. The LORD foils the plans of the nations; he thwarts the purposes of the peoples. But the plans of the LORD stand firm forever, the purpose of his heart through all generations. (Psalm 33:9-11)
For by him all things were created; things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authoritites, all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Colossians 1:16-17)
The Bible makes it very clear that God is in control, not men. HIs purposes and his will always win out. We await that time when it will be clear to all souls.
I consider that our present sufferings are not worth comparing with the glory that will be revealed in us. The creation waits in eager expectation for the sons of God to be revealed. (Romans 8:18)
Let these words bring some comfort to you if you are anxious or frustrated by the present world conditions and the current chaotic election cycle in America.
