From the current world situation is seems the end times are here or are near. Each day brings more bad news! It is becoming commonplace for our political leaders to cheat and lie with little in the way of obvious consequence to them.

Do Christians have reason to fear? The Bible tells us we can expect persecution and that we should find joy in that. But, what else do the Scriptures inform us about fear?

The LORD is my light and my salvation — whom shall I fear? The LORD is the stronghold of my life — of whom shall I be afraid. (Psalm 27:1)

The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge. He is my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold. (Psalm 18:2)

Wait for the LORD; be strong and take heart and wait for the LORD. (Psalm 27:14)

Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff they comfort me. (Psalm 23:4)

And, there are many more similar passages.

Just as God provided saving grace to mankind in the ark at the time of Noah when there was nothing but evil all the time over the whole earth, He has provided a similar saving grace in this time of evil with our savior Jesus Christ. Those who have accepted this redemptive grace should have no reason to fear.
