This is what God the LORD says — he who created the heavens and stretched them out, who spread out the earth and all that comes out of it, who gives breath to its people, and life to those who walk on it. (Isaiah 42:5)
“For by him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were created by him and for him. He is before all things, and in him all things hold together. (Colossians 1:16-17)
From these verses is it clear that Christ Jesus is our Creator and Sustainer. The refusal of many in the world to really understand and believe this explains the situation that we are in today in the world.
Those who believe these verses in a literal sense and have accepted Christ as Lord and Savior will not act the same as those who have not.
The existence of the many laws of nature and the order of the universe make no sense if atheism is true and everything exists due to the chance interactions of matter. Secular science cannot explain how the universe holds together, but biblical creationists understand that it, including all of life, are held together by the power of Christ.
