Jesus has the power to heal in any manner he choses. On some occasions in the Bible he merely spoke and a healing took place. Those with faith in him know that he can heal through our prayers, for he is omnipotent and omniscient.
In addition our God is omnipresent and that fact speaks to his being a personal God. He did not speak the universe into existence billions of years ago and then “walk” away from his creation as deists would have us believe. Nor did he set a macroevolutionary process in place to allow random interactions of matter, suffering, and death to create the universe we see today as theistic evolutionists believe.
No, God has always from the beginning been closely involved in the creation and sustenance of the universe and those he created in his image. Those who accept Christ as Lord and Savior have a personal God who is always with them.
