So God created man in His own image, in the image of God He created him; male and female He created them. (Genesis 1:27)
This verse is one of many in the Bible that clearly state that man did not evolve from apes or any other apelike ancestor. Male and female were existant from the beginning. How significant that we were created in God's image and likeness! This fact speaks to the personal nature of the true God to those He loves and that love Him back.
Scientists can physically disect and chemically analyze us humans to some technological advantage, but we can truly be understood only according to our relationship to God, in whose image we were made.
The Bible is relevant and true science (knowledge) supports mankind's sociological and psychological connection to a personal relationship with the Creator God. All that is required is that each person individually accepts the truth that we are made to be children of God.
