And being found in appearance as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient to death – even death on a cross! (Philippians 2:8)

The Word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. (John 1:14)

For what the law was powerless to do in that it was weakened by the sinful nature, God did by sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful man to be a sin offering. (Romans 8:3)

Who being in very nature God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped, but made himself nothing, taking the very nature of a servant, being made in human likeness. (Philippians 2:6-7)

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.”
(Galatians 3:13)

God made him who had no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we might become the righteousness of God. (2 Corinithians 5:21)

These verses provide some very profound truths indeed. What Christ did for us is cause for great thankfulness and joy!
