Both ethnologists and anthropologists have presented abundant evidence that a monogamous [one partner], permanent marriage has everywhere and in all ages been the ideal form of family life. True happiness, true fulfillment, and true accomplishment of God's purposes involve obeying God's command that a man be united to his wife and become one with her. What woman wouldn't want the man to whom she is willing to give her life, to dedicate himself to her alone with a lifelong and permanent commitment?

Monogamy can hardly be a product of evolution, since it is not commonly found with primates or most other animals. If evolution were true, then it would be a major advantage to any animal to have multiple offspring by multiple mates in order to more successfully propagate its genes. Thus, why shouldn't the preferred human relationship be for each man to randomly impregnate as many women as possible? Although this arrangement is common in degenerating civilizations, it has always been considered abhorrent behavior and drives the downfall of a society.
Following evolutionary principles to their logical conclusion always results in disaster.
