The geological reord does not testify of an old earth, nor does it show any gradual development of life forms. The whole idea of animals evolving slowly over time cannot be supported by the fossil record. There is simply no evidence for the gradual transition of one form into a completely different form.

Another problem for evolution is the absence of animal remains. They are not piling up around us in order to eventually form a fossil layer representing what happened during this “geologic age.” Instead, remains are ripped apart by scavengers and dispersed. Of the estimated 100 million buffalo which roamed the great plains over a century ago, not a single one is now in the process of fossilization.

The only reason we find such a rich fossil record of life in the past (a record that shows distinct forms of life, not life in the process of changing from one form to another) is because there was a worldwide Flood which rapidly buried this life!
