It is the glory of God to conceal a matter; to search out a matter is the glory of kings. (Proverbs 25:2)

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground.” (Genesis 1:28)

Great is the LORD and most worthy of praise; his greatness no one can fathom. (Psalm 145:3)

But if it were I, I would appeal to God; I would lay my cause before him. He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed, miracles that cannot be counted. (Job 5:8-9)

From the above scriptures and others we are told that God gave man the ability as well as the permission to do science, i.e. search out knowledge. But God is so far above man that there can be no expectation that our science in this world will ever learn His “hidden things.” We can only learn the truth that He allows us to learn and the best way to gain in that search is to rely first and foremost on the knowledge source that He has given us, the Bible.
