“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” (Matthew 28:19)

He said to them, “Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation. Whoever believes and is baptised will be saved, but whoever does not believe will be condemned.” (Mark 16:15-16)

It is amazing how many people calling themselves Christians today pay little or no attention in their daily lives to the Great Commission. This command directly from Christ was not just a suggestion for his followers! The earliest believers understood that well.

Day after day, in the temple courts and from house to house, they never stopped teaching and proclaiming the good news that Jesus is the Christ. (Acts 5:42)

Those who had been scattered preached the word wherever they went. (Acts 8:4)

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)

And the the things you have heard me say in the presence of many witnesses entrust to reliable men who will also be qualified to teach others. (2 Timothy 2:2)

Yes, everyday in America our faith is under greater attack. But, it is doubtful that we are under any greater attack than were the first Christians. We must each do our part to advance the gospel message!
