“I give them eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand. My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all; no one can snatch them out of my Father's hand.” (John 10:28-29)
“My sheep listen to my voice; I know them, and they follow me.” (John 10:27)
Those who trust and obey Jesus listen to him and follow him. They are those that the Father has given to Jesus, and they have assurance that no one, not even Satan, can snatch them away.
“I and the Father are one.” (John 10: 30)
These important verses from chapter ten of the gospel of John explain that our eternal lives are secured by the one true triune God. How could our souls be any more secure? We are secure not only once we get to heaven, but also here on earth!
