Contrary to evolutionary thought, evidence indicates that ancient man lived at a high level of civilization from the very start. The Bible and historical writings describe these advanced ancient civilizations. The pattern we see repeated throughout history (in ancient civilizations like the Egyptians, Babylonians, Hittites, Phoenicians, Syrians, Persians, Romans, Incas, and many others) is that of increasing depravity as man rejects God and his accountability to Him in favor of satisfying his own selfish desires with accountability to no one.
Careful examination of the physical remains of these cultures shows evidence of widespread violence and gross immorality. As these societies continued to fall into deeper levels of degradation, demonic manifestations and human sacrifice became commonplace. Virtually every civilization of the ancient past reached a point of destruction and ruin. The Bible is 100% accurate in its view of mankind and his ultimate end whenever God is rejected.
