Thomas Huxley, arguably history's most influential proponent of evolution, stated that,
r />“It is clear that the doctrine of evolution is directly antagonistic to that of creation…if consistently accepted, it makes it impossible to believe the Bible.”

This statement could not be more true. Creation requires accountability to a greater power. Evolution ultimately implies that we are accountable to no one but ourselves.

The straightforward application of the principles of evolution has resulted in some of the greatest atrocities in history. For example, Hitler accepted the evolutionary platitudes of Nietzsche: the idea of a super race. Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life is the subtitle of Darwin's book on evolution. Hitler's master-race mentality was merely a natural consequence of evolutionary thinking. Mussolini frequently quoted the Darwinian catch phrases and carried the survival-of-the-fittest mentality to its logical conclusion-believing war was essential for progress. Karl Marx asked Darwin to write an introduction to Das Kapital, since he believed that Darwinism provided a scientific foundation for communism. Communist governments worldwide push evolution in an effort to remove God and accountability to Him. This conveniently leaves government as the only source of authority and provides the justification for the murder of millions. Truly, evolution is a poor trade for the truth of the creation.
