Moreover, as you Philippians know, in the early days of your acquaintance with the gospel, when I set out from Macedonia, not one church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving, except you only. (Philippians 4:15)

It is more blessed to give than to receive. (Acts 20:35b)

Remember this: Whoever sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and whoever sows generously will also reap generously. Each man should give what he has decided in his heart to give not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver. And God is able to make all grace abound to you, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work. (2 Corinthians 9:6-8)

The Bible tells us that those who regularly give can expect to receive in a like manner. But notice that the giving must be from the heart in order for it to be blessed. Be one of those who gives generously for the work of the Kingdom.
