Listen, I tell you a mystery: We will not all sleep, but we will all be changed – in a flash, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trumpet. For the trumpet will sound, the dead will be raised imperishable, and we will be changed. (1 Cornithians 15:51-52)

This is what all believers should fervently anticipate. That flash or twinkling of an eye where we change from death to life. Where we will be eternally transformed from perishable to imperishable.

In Phillipians 3:21 we read, Christ, who by the power that enables him to bring everything under control, will transform bodies so that they will be like his glorious body.

Christ certainly has sufficient power to change our bodies to be like his because he has already demonstrated the power to bring everything under his control. He is the Creator, the only Sustainer, and the only Redeemer.

What an amazing event and result awaits all believers! There are no reasons for the Christian not to be encouraged.
