God called the light day and the darkness he called night. And there was evening, and there was morning – the first day. (Genesis 1:5)

For in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but he rested on the seventh day. (Exodus 20:11)

For six days, work is to be done, but the seventh day is a sabbath of rest, holy to the L0RD… It will be a sign between me and the Israelites forever, for in six days the LORD made the heavens and the earth, and the seventh day he abstained from work and rested. (Exodus 31:15-17)

These verses and numerous others in the Bible should make it clear that there are no geological ages of hundreds of millions of years, no evolution of apes to man over millions of years and no billions of years for the age of the universe. A proper acceptance of God's word on these two issues – evolution and millions of years – will allow anyone with an open mind to develop perfect consistency between God's Special Revelation (The Bible) and His General Revelation (The Creation).

How unfortunate that so many have been taken captive by the atheistic presuppositions of God-hating men over the past 200 years. God “could have” used millions of years to create everything, but that is not what He says He did in His Word. Since it is against God's nature to lie, we must take Him at His Word!
