“Is anything too hard for the LORD? I will return to you at the appointed time next year and Sarah will have a son.” (Genesis 18:14)
Similarly in Jeremiah 32:27 God says, “I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?”
The Bible is filled with examples of God's miraculous interventions into His created universe. If God was able to create the universe simply by speaking, then His power concerning the makeup and operation of it would be infinite to our understanding.
To enable Sarah to become a mother in her very old age would have been an easy task for the Creator God; and Christians have sufficient evidence from elsewhere in God's Word of His enormous capabilities. When He promises us everlasting life through his son Jesus Christ, we must never doubt Him.
