“You will not surely die.” (Genesis 3:4)

Ever since the beginning, in the Garden of Eden, man has not been able to determine, on his own, right from wrong or truth from error. God's Word helps those open to his guidance to determine which is which; and God provides us with this guidance to help us identify sin. By definition sin is when we go against the will of God.

Do not lie with a man as one lies with a woman, that is detestable. (Leviticus 18:22)

Because of this [the rejection of the Creator], God gave them over to shameful lusts. Even their women exchanged natural relations for unnatural ones. In the same way the men also abandoned natural relations with women and were inflamed with lust for one another. Men committed indecent acts with other men, and received in themselves the due penalty for their perversion. Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not be done. (Romans 1:26-28)

This perversity and depravity has been justified in the minds of secular leaders of all stripes and sold to the culture today by the mantra of “loving diversity” and the brand new right of “dignity.” What can we expect for societal acceptance next? Polygamy for sure will be soon mandated. Perhaps adults “marrying” children and people “marrying” animals. It is indeed a slippery slope we are on as a society. When God turns men over to depraved minds due to their rejection of him the results are awful.

God's judgment will be severe!
