Sing to the LORD, you saints of his; praise his holy name. (Psalm 30:4)

I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my sinful nature. For I have the desire to do what is good, but I cannot carry it out. (Romans 7:18)

Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. (Psalm 68:19)

For Christ died for sins once for all, the righteous for the unrighteous, to bring you to God. (1 Peter 3:19)

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

All believers undoubtedly wish they didn't have that sinful nature. I certainly do. This is a fact that we have no control over and has been in place since Adam's sin. How thankful we can be, though, that we each now have Christ who died for our sins, bears our burdens, and instructs us in how we should live.

All praise to his holy name!
