Then you will go on your way in safety, and your feet will not stumble. (Proverbs 3:23)
The book of Proverbs in the Bible provides much wisdom. In chapter three verses 19-26 we are told how to live a safe life while here on earth. We are reminded that it is advantageous for us to follow the advice in God's Word for it comes from the One who created everything.
My son, preserve sound judgment and discernment, do not let them out of your sight; they will be life for you, an ornament to grace your neck. Then you will go on your way in safety, and your foot will not stumble; when you lie down, your sleep will be sweet. (Proverbs 3:21-24)
We are even reminded in these verses that if we follow God's guidelines we should not have difficulty sleeping. In fact our sleep will be sweet. And, our way will be devoid of big obstacles.
Who doesn't want these things?
