So he called ten of his servants and gave them ten minas, “Put this money to work,” he said, “until I come back.” (Luke 19:13)

In this parable Jesus explains that believers are to continue to work for his sake until he returns. Those who seek spiritual gain in the Bible, for themselves and for others, will become richer and those who neglect or squander what is given them will become impoverished, losing even what they have.

In Colossians 3:23-24 we read, Whatever you do work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for men, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving.

I think these verses are pretty clear, don't you?
