However, as it is written: “No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him.” (1 Corinthians 2:9)

And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, “Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God. He will wipe away every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away.” (Revelation 21:3-4)

What a contrast to the world condition since the time of the Fall in the Garden of Eden as described in Genesis! The future things promised in the Bible are beyond the comprehension of men in large part because they have grown accustomed to the situation in a fallen universe.

Is it too much to ask that these promises will come true? No, because of the myriad of biblical prophecies that have already come into effect. And, these prophecies don't just usually prove out; they always prove out. Yes, believers have every good reason to look forward to the day when they can all experience the promised wonder-filled new order!
